STILL LIFE AFTER HUNTING
Winter in Bochnia, oil on canvas, 2012
When the groomed rabbit
hanging on the quicklime wall
in that distance –
some pastels bursting
like a patrons
on the magnolia caffee table
I woke you slept
just morning train goes
you woke I back
In my dreams
everything more than pain
colors like guns –
oil on the canvas
behind me happening's a hunt
three strokes like shoots
I found his clothes
moufle hunting boots busby
I sit like a dumb animal
When you came to me
with winter I shook –
nights safe me
grass taste on my tongue
you stiffen in the front door
I run to kitchen run run
